Robin-Banks Entertainment was founded in 2016 by Katie Robinette and Amy Banks with a shared vision: to create the ultimate live entertainment experience for weddings and special events. With over two decades of combined experience in the wedding and event markets of Philadelphia, Chicago, and Dallas, they saw an opportunity to raise the bar for professionalism and performance in Central Pennsylvania.

Central City Orchestra was the first of many success stories—quickly earning a reputation as one of the region’s most in-demand wedding bands, celebrated for its high-energy shows, world-class talent, and unforgettable client experiences.

Building on that momentum, we expanded our offerings to include Downtown Sound, an edgier, alternative sister group for clients seeking a modern twist. In 2020, we continued to innovate by launching dynamic DJ hybrid packages that combine the energy of live musicians with the versatility of a DJ.

Today, Robin-Banks Entertainment is proudly 100% woman-owned and led by founder and CEO Katie Robinette. The company’s strong foundation was built through the creative vision and collaboration of its original founders, a legacy that continues to shape who we are.
